West Wittering Geography Field Trip - September 2017
On Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st September 106 Year 11 geography students travelled to West Wittering to study the impact of coastal management. This was in preparation for their GCSE exam. In groups they measured the height of the groynes and size of pebbles to determine the impact of longshore drift and the groynes. They also learnt about the spit and climbed up to the top of the sand dunes to understand how they are formed.
