Information for Students with SEND and their Parents/Carers

Students with SEND are prioritised for independent careers advice, from as early as Year 9. They will typically have three meetings with the advisor before making college applications in the autumn term of Year 11. Learning Coaches and careers staff engage with parents of SEND students to assist with the process. Hampshire County Council have produced some excellent resources to support young people with SEND and their parents/carers through the process of post-16 education.
