Career Pilot

Career Pilot (https://careerpilot.org.uk/) is a fantastic website which allows students and carers to explore a wealth of resources about training, jobs and further study.

The attached guide shows how students can create an account. Once you are set up, you can take quizzes to help you explore potential career paths, based on your responses. You can explore the huge range of information about nearly every job imaginable, such as typical salary, working hours and day-to-day responsibilities. You can even look to see if there are current vacancies for particular jobs in, or near to, Fleet.

Alternatively, you can explore by subject: choose your favourite subject and see what jobs it tends to lead to.

In lower school, you can use Career Pilot to help you with your option choices in Year 9; in upper school, you can use Career Pilot to help you start planning for your next steps after leaving Court Moor. Your Career Pilot account doesn’t end when you leave Court Moor; in fact, you can continue to use it until you are 20, so you could use the university sections to explore courses and do virtual campus tours.
