Careers in STEM

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) is one of the biggest employment areas in the UK. In fact, nearly 10 million people in the UK (over a third of the workforce) work in STEM-related industries. However, many of these industries report that they struggle to recruit new employees.

At Court Moor we promote STEM-related careers via assemblies and through curriculum learning, particularly in science, computing, design & technology and maths. We are proud that we are able to take students to visit local companies such as BAE Systems, Farnborough Airport and Fluor, and that we have established relationships with Fortinet Engineering, Go Construct and the Royal Navy.
