Clubs Showcase: Tuesday

This week we are highlighting some of the forty clubs and other extra-curricular activities we typically run across the week. We are very proud of our varied and extensive offering and hope that as many students as possible will book onto one or more.

Today we had the following popular clubs. Board game club: students get to pick from a cupboard stuffed with games as well as building Lego. Science club: students have the chance to get hands on with diverse activities in support of physics, chemistry, and biology. Today's activity was run by Mr Higgs and involved dissecting a sardine, to learn about general fish anatomy and gill filaments. PE clubs: Girls football (available to girls from all year groups), Boys rugby (years 7/8), Trampolining (years 10/11), GCSE PE Badminton, and Hockey (years 9-11). Our PE clubs include skill learning and refinement, and match play and tactics where relevant.

If a club is full you can also email IT Services to be put on the waiting list.
