Year 10 Head Students

Meet our new Year 10 Head Student team!

After an inspiring and rigorous selection process, we are proud to introduce our five new Year 10 Head Students!

Becoming a Head Student is no small achievement. Each candidate went through a comprehensive process that truly showcased their dedication, leadership skills, and commitment to our school community. From submitting detailed applications, pitching their ideas in a two minute panel, to speaking confidently at hustings in assemblies to other year groups and taking part in formal interviews — every step demonstrated courage, resilience, and passion.

The standard this year was incredibly high with 24 very strong applicants, shortlisted to 12 after the pitching, making the final decision a very difficult one. However, these five students stood out for their vision, integrity, and determination to make a positive impact.

As Head Students, they will:

• Represent the student voice
• Support school events and initiatives
• Act as role models for all of our students
• Work closely with staff to actively help shape our school community

We are excited to see their ideas come to life and look forward to the energy, enthusiasm, and leadership.  They will be inducted into their roles after half term by our superb current head students in Year 11.
