GCSE Art and Textiles Exhibition

Last Thursday we had our 2025 Year 11 GCSE Art and Textiles Exhibition.

The exhibition was a culmination of all of our students best work over their two year GCSE. Parents and students from all years commented on the level of creativity, individualism and skill that was demonstrated by our students. The Art students displayed work based on the theme of their message to the world, working in clay to produce a painted sculpture that showed their journey from artist research, alongside observations and ideas. The Textiles students based their work on themes like natural forms and celebrations creating a vast range of outcomes from basques, to wall-hangings, handbags and hats using a variety of techniques together.

We pride ourselves on students achieving very individual, creative outcomes, which really came across in this years exhibition and set the standard for next year's students, who were inspired when they attended the exhibition.
