Cyber Ambassador Training
Mrs Nash and Mrs Donoghue offered to attend Cyber Ambassador Training on 29th March at Robert Mays School with 12 of our Year 9/10 students. The Cyber Ambassador scheme supports schools in their efforts to increase online safety awareness amongst young people by using peer to peer education. The students were trained on cyber safety issues such as online consent, grooming, virtual mobbing and doxing, digital footprint, privacy and reporting. They will now become ‘ambassadors’ within school and act as a point of contact for other students on cyber issues. They are also trained to pass on what they have learned to their peers through workshops, PSHE lessons and assemblies. Mrs Donoghue will work with these ambassadors on delivering cyber education within the school.
