Duke of Edinburgh Practice Hike

Last Saturday the year 10 Duke of Edinburgh cohort had their first experience of map reading in the wild, from Aldershot to school via Caesar's Camp! This is preparation for their assessed hike in June. The paths at Caesar's camp are very similar to the New Forest paths so offer perfect opportunities to understand the different features. Once back at school the students practiced cooking on Trangia stoves and setting up camp.
