Year 11 vs. Staff Netball

After school yesterday we had year 11 vs. staff netball.

It was a spirited and energetic game throughout. Mr "Hangtime" Hazel may have spent more match time in the air than on the ground. Mrs Smith was using prom bans to motivate the students from winning. A huge thank you to our student referees who kept the rule bending staff in check.

And a huge well done to the students who won, students 15-12 staff.

Post-match comments to the school press from Mr Hazel were that it was a competitive game, affected by lack of staff subs, and some debatable calls from the referees. The student team captain commented that it was a strong battle, and they managed to a win from a rocky start, thanks to great communication and support.
