Year 7 Kabaddi

As part of celebrating cultural diversity, some year 7 students played an adapted version of Kabaddi this afternoon. This is a contact team sport played between two teams of players that is traditionally played in South Asia. 

In the game, a 'raider' enters the opposing half of the court to tag the defenders and attempts to return within 10 seconds without being tackled. The winning team has the most amount of tags. This was a high-energy game and very exciting to watch!
