Online Safety Assemblies

Our assemblies this week are on raising student awareness of their behaviour online, especially relating to their use of social media, with a focus on:
• Image consent
• AI risks
• Online safety
• Mental health

Our young people are at greater risk outside the hours of the school day, so how can you help at home?
• Talk without judgement
• Ask about apps
• Encourage reporting
• Reassure that support comes first

Our key message this week is that as the adults we should be supporting our young people: “We are focused on protection, not punishment.”
