After school today we had I'm a Teacher Get Me Out of Here in the main hall.

Our poor teachers (and students) had to face a number of challenges:
- blindfolded eating: there was a lot of Monster Munch involved!
- guess the item: immediately won by Mrs Lovegrove who guessed all three items correctly
- find the star: students had to turn over cups to find points for their house. Well done to the Pacific house student volunteer who found the most house points
- balloon relay: pairs of teachers had to run (or at least waddle) the width of the hall with a balloon between their knees, then pass the balloon to their partner (no hands allowed!) who had to waddle back. Well done to Mr Celino and Mr Heaton who were the fastest waddlers for Sahara house!
- durian fruit: teacher volunteers had to smell, eat, and swallow a piece of durian fruit to win house points. Well done to Mr Heaton who was the first to manage all three

Once the challenges were over there was a student raffle to win various treats, and then all the students received a goody bag which includes a quiz (to be handed in after term) where students can win more points for their house.

Over 100 year 7's paid £5 to watch, which has raised more than £500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Thanks to the teachers who volunteered and the students that came to watch!
