Year 9 Get Set Day

Year 9 have a Get Set Day today, which is one of five days during the school year where students study broader aspects of the curriculum. Today's sessions are all about work experience and we have three visitors with sessions as follows:

- Vicky Kenny, People & Culture Manager from the Four Seasons Hotels Hampshire. Vicky explained about her role and then the students learnt how to fold napkins and make place settings.
-  Chris Browne from Waterfords Estate Agent. Chris explained about the property industry and set tasks on identifying how many businesses are connected to housing and valuing properties.
- South East Coast Ambulance Service. Students were taught essential lifesaving skills with a training manikin.
