The lasting impact of the global pandemic has highlighted the importance of taking positive steps to support mental health and wellbeing. Learning resilience can make a big difference to students. Over the last 8 years the Making Generation R campaign has been supporting injured veterans to take their stories about overcoming adversity into schools. We were extremely honoured to be chosen to host the last ever Making Generation R assembly at Court Moor.

Our year 8 students heard the truly inspirational story of Darren Swift, who lost both his legs in an explosion 32 years ago in Northern Ireland.

Unfortunately, due to lack of funding the MGR programme is ending. If you are aware of any corporates who may be able to provide sponsorship to enable this great scheme to continue, please do let us know.
