International Women in Engineering Qinetiq Trip

This week we took nine Year 8 girls to the Training Innovation Facility (TIF) at Qinetiq. There the students heard presentations from women engineers. They also had the chance to try their simulators, see how everyday technology is used for training the armed forces, how they support Space research, and they were given a chance to compete in a ‘Team Challenge’.

It was a fabulous day and our students won two of the three prizes on offer for the day.
