Year 9 Battlefields Trip

Last weekend 70 year 9 students visited the World War One battlefields in France and Belgium. They explored trenches, memorials, and cemeteries to deepen their understanding of soldiers’ experiences and the war’s lasting impact. This included observing a minute's silence and laying a wreath at Tyne Cot Cemetery in remembrance of the soldiers that lost their lives during WW1.
