Year 7 Minute to Win It

Year 7 had their house Minute to Win It assembly this morning, a great way to start a Monday morning.

Tutors had a minute to complete three tasks:
• Scavenger Hunt - find the best pen from their tutor group. Won by Mrs Nash for Everest with a particularly colourful pen.
• Speed Drawing - sketch live model and head of year 7, Mrs Lovegrove, who then judged the best result. This was won by Mrs Warman for Everest with a fantastic sketch.
• Balloon Pop Challenge - attach a balloon to an ankle, then it was last tutor/balloon standing, prompting some frenetic and competitive action. It came down to Mrs Nash and Mr Celino, but Mrs Nash was popped leaving Mr Celino the winner for Sahara.

With two Everest wins and one Sahara win, Everest win overall, adding to their house point total.

Well done to the students for their enthusiastic house support, and thanks to the heads of house for such a fun assembly!
