The Personal Social Health and Economic Education (PSHE) programme at Court Moor is to support its pupils to thrive in a time of rapid change, with new opportunities and challenges constantly emerging. It has been carefully designed as a context through which to develop the concepts, skills and attributes set out below. Although the specific content of PSHE education will constantly evolve as the world changes, these concepts are timeless. It is vital they can explore their attitudes, values, and beliefs about them and to develop the skills, language, and strategies necessary to manage these issues should they encounter them.

  • Core Concept 1: Health and Well Being: personal identity; healthy lifestyles;keeping safe
  • Core Concept 2: Relationships: healthy relationships;relationships and sex eductaion; relationship safety; valuing difference
  • Core Concept 3: Living in the wider world: rights and responsibilities;economic wellbeing; employability and enterprise; career progression
