Autumn PC Wallpaper Competition Reminder

A reminder that the deadline for the Autumn PC wallpaper competition is the end of tomorrow. Further details below, and on EduLink One homework for year 8-10 students. Year 7 parents/carers should have received details of the competition during the summer holidays.

IT Services are again running a competition for students to submit themed artwork to appear as wallpaper on staff computers. The student with the winning entry will receive a £20 voucher. 

The competition criteria are as per below. Read these carefully, as the artwork which follows the criteria most closely will be chosen as the winner. Ask Mr Taylor if you have any questions, either via school email, or at the IT Services office, 1st floor Dinorben block:

- entries must have an autumn theme and incorporate Court Moor in some respect
- the artwork will be used as the wallpaper on staff computers, so needs to be appropriately designed such that app icons can be easily seen i.e. not too busy with detail
- the artwork can be in any form e.g. photo, digital drawing, painting etc. but it needs to be in an approximate 16:9 landscape aspect ratio to fit a computer screen
- it must be your own work and not use AI
- all entries must be submitted by the end of Thursday 11th September, either by email to Mr Taylor (mark.taylor@court-moor.hants.sch.uk) or once autumn term has started they can be handed in to the IT Services office (1st floor Dinorben block)
- once the winning entry is chosen it will be shown on staff PCs during the autumn term, along with runner up entries
