End of Year Assembly

We had our whole school end of year assembly this morning.

Our master of ceremonies was the marvellous Mr McEnroe, we had Mrs Beattie's end of year address, two amazing singing performances from our students (with Mr Ashford on piano), photo montages from across the year, two new staff masked singer performances which were ably guessed by the students, and a heads of house video game-style knockout challenge (thanks to Mr Hazel's amazing video editing skills) won by Mrs Bicknell. 

We said goodbye to staff that are moving on to pastures new, and we wish them the very best: Mr Riley, Mrs Greenaway, Mrs Matthews, and Mr Milner.

Mrs Rollason gave the final house point totals for the year: Sahara 14,977, Everest 16,455, Nile 17,509, and Pacific 17,792. It was close, well done Pacific!

Some reminders from now until the start of autumn term:

• Our final two days of the term next week, Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd, are inset days.
• GCSE results day is the 21st August 2025, with results available for collection from 10.00am – 11.30am from the Retreat. The results day letter with full details was sent out in June, and a copy of the letter is available on the following page. The letter includes a link to confirm if you are attending results day, which should be completed by Monday 18th August https://www.court-moor.hants.sch.uk/93/examination-information
• The autumn term starts for students on Thursday 4th September. Year 7 should go to the tennis courts (as they did on the transition days) for 8:30am, but if the weather is bad, the sports hall. There will be staff present to direct students. Years 8-11 should be in their tutor rooms by 9:35am. If they need reminding of their tutor rooms, there will be signs in reception.
