Celebration of Achievement

Monday to Thursday this week we have our Celebration of Achievement assemblies in year group order, starting with year 7 today.

Each assembly is being expertly compèred by Mrs Smith and Miss Rollason along with the head of year, Mr Baker today. There is also an address from our headteacher, Mrs Beattie, and from our four head students. Musical entertainment is provided by members of the year group before launching into the awards, which are divided up as follows, with an award for a student in each:

Core subjects = Maths, English, and Science

• Humanities = History, Geography, Philosophy, Religion and Ethics, and Personal, Social, Health and Economic
• Arts = Art, Drama, and Music
• Technology = Design & Technology (Product Design, Graphics, Food & Nutrition) and Computing
• Year Group Bake Off Winner
• PE
• Modern Foreign Languages
• Head of Year Award
• Headteacher's Award for Recognition of Excellent Effort Throughout the Year
• Tutor Group House Point Champions (won by 7NDD today)
