Year 7 Camp Out
Back
Tents were setup yesterday afternoon, with some parental help where needed. Students returned at 5pm to a no-phone zone, and had a rotation of activities, including rounders, volleyball, netball, garden games, table tennis, and a quiz in the secret theatre. Mr Pope was head of cooling-people-down-with-water-pistols duty, although may have shot one too many staff and been dunked by Mr Butcher and Mr Bolton. The activities were followed by a water battle, for those that wanted to join in, whether armed with water pistols or cups. It was great to see students having so much fun. Finally, it was time to light the firepits, toast marshmallows, and have some s'mores. Bedtime followed, with student and tent collection this morning.
Well done to Mr Bolton and his fantastic staff team, with the help of our amazing year 10 volunteers. We hope year 7 had a fabulous time!
