Science Fair
Back
Our Key Stage 3 students (years 7-9) have once again been working hard on the task of presenting a science project this summer term. We saw more research, more testing, more chemicals, more models, more microorganisms and more experiments that followed the scientific method than ever before.
We held the first round of Science Fair '25 in-class last week, where two projects per class were picked by the students to go through to the Science Fair Final. Yesterday evening, the winners presented their projects to family, friends and staff and confidently described and explained their projects. There were a lot of demonstrations and physical displays of results, as well as some video footage. The standard at our finals gets better ever year and this year's finalists have raised the bar again. The level of scientific oracy was outstanding. There was a true love of science in those labs and the students have left the science department feeling very proud.
The winners will be announced at the Celebration of Achievement.
