Mega Bake Off

We had our mega bake off this morning, where the year 7-9 student winners from the previous rounds competed against each other.

It was of course a showstopper round, with a suitable school theme of "geography". There were some very imaginative creations, from globes to rainforests to volcanoes to complex geology! The cakes were judged based on appearance and flavour. We had geographical experts on hand to judge, with Mrs Jones and Mrs Young from the geography department. Thanks also to Chris from Signature Catering for sparing his time to judge the cuisine.

Unfortunately, you will have to wait until the last week of term and the celebration of achievement assemblies to discover who the winner and two runners up are. The winner will get various baking related equipment and a special 2025 bake off apron, with prizes for the runners up as well. Hopefully the photos of these amazing cakes will tie you over until the winner and runners up are announced!
