Year 7 Bake Off

After school on Wednesday we had round two of year 7 bake off.

The bake this time was for shortbread. Students were given a basic recipe and instructed to create four identical biscuits with an interesting flavour and shape. It proved to be popular, with around twenty students competing. Miss Behagg was very impressed by the creativity and found it the most difficult round to judge yet.

The star baker was Amy S, with Matilda G and Oliver R runners up. These and five other year 7 students are through to the mega bake off after half term, where all those that have gone through from the other year group rounds will compete against each other.
