We had a whole school assembly this morning - the first time in four years that we have had all five year groups together for an assembly - so it was a lovely community event. Expertly compered by Mr McEnroe and introduced by Mrs Beattie, we said goodbye to Mr Sivalingam, Miss Robinson, and Mrs Clark. With Miss Robinson, our head of houses, leaving, we will now have four heads of house: Miss Savage (Everest), Mrs Smith (Nile), Miss Rollason (Pacific), and Mr Pope (Sahara). They were immediately introduced to house games by having to catch as many rings on their inflatable antlers as possible, won by Mr Pope. We had wonderful performances from the jazz band, a Christmas song beautifully sung by Merryn W, and an amazing song both written and performed by Frankie M. We also had a special Christmas edition of Masked Singer, where Santa (revealed to be Mrs Whiting) serenaded us with "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town", followed by a student and staff sing-along.

A reminder that 2nd January is an inset day, and students return on the 3rd. Wishing all our students and parents/carers a lovely Christmas holidays!
