Book Bingo and Moor Than Books
Back
Catching up with some of our events from the summer term, the Book Bingos have been drawn and the lucky entries have received their vouchers to spend. Make sure you enter this year for your chance to win!
Get an early start on your Bingo for this year and read the latest MOOR THAN BOOKS selection. Members of the Allies may recall that, in our last meeting, someone raised the important issue of representation and how some allyship issues can sometimes be a little overshadowed by others but are no less important. Therefore, this Allies inspired ‘Moor Than Books’ selection features books containing characters who have a disability and highlights how it effects their lives.
We’ve tried to select books from different genres and to ensure that the stories are empowering and uplifting. We also hope to promote discussions around what life with a disability might be like. We really hope you’ll enjoy them and share your thoughts with us!
