BAE Systems Roadshow Launch

Court Moor were honoured today to host the launch event for the BAE Systems Roadshow, which Year 7 had the privilege to watch. Serving members from both the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy introduced the show along with our local MP, Ranil Jayawardena. BBC South Today and Forces News were also in attendance. The launch coincides with National Science Week.

The roadshow itself, which has visited Court Moor numerous times in previous years, was fantastic and informative as usual. Students learnt all about the complexities of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for sea, air, and space. Did you know that 60% of the world's satellites are made in Motherwell, Scotland? We also had a very visual demonstration of how big the sun is compared to the Earth, as you will be able to see from the photos.
