Our latest Ofsted report has been made available to parents and will be publicly available in the coming week. The school are really pleased with the report which effectively captures the spirit of Court Moor. In an excellent report, a few notable phrases are:

Pupils value their education They are happy and they feel safe. They are respectful, polite, considerate and caring.

The learning environment is calm and purposeful…low-level disruption is not tolerated.

Parents are incredibly positive about the school.

The curriculum…is designed to ensure pupils see learning as an enjoyable experience.

Teachers are highly skilled and have expert subject knowledge.

The welfare, well-being and safety of all pupils are high priorities for the school.

The single point for improvement is to increase the number of students taking up languages at GCSE, something the school is working on. This relates to the EBacc but the governors have agreed with the SLT and 80% of the parents that the compulsory uptake of languages is not something we are prepared to do, so we are comfortable that the improvement is a point of choice, not an oversight.

Court Moor is pleased to have Ofsted out the way and will continue to develop our school over the coming years to make it the best it can be.
