Year 8 World of Work

Year 8 have spent this afternoon hearing about careers as part of our World of Work initiative. Teaching staff with relevant experience have given presentations about the main roles and employers within the various sectors, the education route to the roles, and market information such as average pay. Over twenty diverse sectors have been covered, such as Information Technology, Creative Arts & Design, and Healthcare. Some of the presentations have proven particularly popular with around 50 students a session.
