Careers Café: Physiotherapy

We were lucky to have our own Mrs Engin with us this morning for a careers café talk on physiotherapy.

As well as being our resource technician for food technology, Mrs Engin has also been a chartered physiotherapist for the last 20 years. Mrs Engin gave us the details of her career, from gaining a physiotherapy degree, to working in hospitals, publishing a paper, self-employment, and most recently working in research. She then described the ideal personal qualities, the types of treatment that physiotherapists deliver, and the routes to chartership. There was even a demonstration of a wobble cushion!
