World Down's Syndrome Day

Thursday 21st March marks World Down’s Syndrome Day, and the Court Moor ‘Allies’ have chosen to acknowledge it by taking part in the ‘Lots Of Socks’ campaign. Students will have the opportunity to show their support by wearing odd socks or colourful ones, or a combination of both on the day. All they need to do is choose some socks that are going to get noticed - they might be mismatched socks or their craziest and most colourful socks!

We would appreciate it if you could discuss this with your child, and encourage them to take part in this worthy cause. We will be promoting the day on social media, as well as in school. There is no need to make a charitable donation if your child wishes to be involved – this is about raising awareness. Looking forward to seeing some crazy socks on Thursday!
