Past the Middle of Activities Week

We are just past the middle of Activities Week and it's been another fab day with some different challenges.

For Year 8, Camp A and B at Tile Barn have swapped over.

Year 7 have been in tutor groups today for the demanding play-in-a-day. They have dressed up, learned lines, practised songs and dance moves, and then presented their finished section of the play to the rest of the year group this afternoon.

Half of Year 9 have been working with the SATRO charity today in a team exercise where they have had to manufacture bracelets, key rings, and other items. They have needed to judiciously buy materials and then sell their items all within a virtual banking system. The other half of Year 9 have been planning a once in a lifetime trip away. They have needed to put together an itinerary, create a poster, and then an imagined diary day when on their trip. They have then had to present that to the rest of the class. The halves of the year will swap activities tomorrow.
