Science Club Investigating Bacteria

This week in Science club the students were investigating bacteria. They created agar plates and are growing bacteria cultures from swabs of common household and school equipment. They then used microscopy to look at common bacteria. This has been part of our strategy of working with the Food Technology department and demonstrating the importance of food hygiene.
