Teacher Training at Court Moor

Would you like to train as a teacher?

Whether it is a career you have always wanted to pursue, you are considering a career change, or you have just begun to explore teaching as a possible next step, we would be delighted to hear from you.

At Court Moor, we are able to offer exceptional school-based PGCE training through our partnerships with excellent training providers: Calthorpe Park School in Fleet, the University of Reading and the George Abbott SCITT (Guildford).

School based training gives you hands-on experience alongside academic study, enabling you to develop as a teacher whilst constantly reflecting on the process.  We provide an interesting and rigorous programme of study within school, which complements your academic studies at university or SCITT.  You will also be mentored by an experienced member of staff.

Court Moor is a fantastic place to work and trainees are made to feel very welcome.  Existing staff are keen to support and share their experience, as well as to learn from new members of the team.

For 2017-18, we are recruiting outstanding candidates who wish to teach a range of subjects including Computing, Geography, Maths, History, Drama, Design Technology, Art and English.

You are very welcome to attend one of our information events and to visit the school.  For further information, please email the Headteacher's PA adminoffice@court-moor.hants.sch.uk or telephone Reception on 01252 615065.
