House System

Court Moor operates a house system to foster the sense of belonging.

All students are a member of one of the four houses, which are linked by the theme of ‘global greats’:

• Everest
• Nile
• Pacific
• Sahara

There are ten tutor groups in each house – two per year group.

Our heads of house are: Miss Holloway (Everest), Mrs Smith (Nile), Miss Rollason (Pacific), and Mr Pope (Sahara).

There is a half-termly ‘House Week’, which involves inter-house sporting events, quizzes and other competitions. House points are awarded by staff, which are accumulated each term with tutor group and house prizes and trophies.
